About SESUG
   Activities Highlights

We continue the SAS learning experience in our evening activities with collaborative SAS games. Here's an example: Team SAS Scrabble. That's right, team - everybody on the team gets all the points. The goal is to build as big a grid as you can, as a group.

All the games will be played with teams, and every time you play, you'll play with a different team. This is another opportunity to teach and learn from other SAS users, and a good excuse to ask someone you don't know to team up for a few minutes! You'll get a scoresheet at the Registration Desk and you can collect wildcards in the SAS Demo Room. You'll be given a set of playing cards Monday evening, but don't get too attached to your cards, because they'll be traded, shuffled and redealt repeatedly!

Top scorer overall wins a free registration to next year's SESUG, and there will be more prizes for other top scorers! A tie-breaker at closing session will determine the winner in the event of a tie. You must be present to win a consolation prize. Top scorer need not be present to win, except in the event of a tie, in which case the player who is present wins. If there's a tie and neither is present, the prize will go to the next highest scorer, and so forth down the line. Everyone who plays will get a commemorative toy.

If you like to dance, we'll be having Argentine Tango lessons (!) and some line dance lessons, so bring your dancing shoes.

SESUG always hosts a charity event, and this year will be no exception. The Silent Auction raised more than $1700 last year - thank you!

The Silent Auction and the SAS games will need volunteers, so sign up to spend a little fun time helping out.
