Accommodations

SESUG ‘97 has reserved a block of rooms for conference attendees at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel at the special SESUG ‘97 rate of $109 per night for one person, or $119 per night for double occupancy. The Omni has been awarded AAA Four Diamond status since 1988, and with amenities such as a rooftop pool and fitness room, promises to provide an environment which encourages both productive days and restful nights. To make hotel reservations:

call the Omni's National Reservation Number, 1-800-THE-OMNI.

call the Omni Jacksonville Hotel directly at (904) 355-6664.

fill out the form on page 53 of your registration booklet and mail or fax it directly to the Omni Jacksonville Hotel, or

contact Harbourside Travel Services, Inc.

Remember, you must identify yourself as a SESUG ‘97 attendee to be eligible for these rates.

Government Rates

The Omni Jacksonville Hotel also offers a limited number of Government-Rate rooms at $79 per night for SESUG ‘97 attendees. In order to receive the government rate, you must be currently employed by a recognized state or federal government agency and pro vide proof of that employment upon registration. In addition, the government rate is not available via the 800 number nor through your travel agent - you must contact the Omni Jacksonville Hotel directly to receive the government rate.

Deadlines

Do not wait - our special SESUG rates at the Omni are only available until August 22^nd, or until our room block has been filled. After that, the room rate will increase - if the hotel still has additional rooms available.

Alternetive Lodging

For those who prefer to stay "off property", SESUG ‘97 has also reserved a small block of rooms at the Club Hotel by Doubletree, at the special SESUG ‘97 rate of $65 per night. The hotel is not within walking distance of the Omni, however, we will provid e transportation between the Club Hotel by Doubletree and the Omni Jacksonville Hotel during the Conference. To reserve a room at this special SESUG ‘97 rate, you must call the Club Hotel by Doubletree directly at (904) 281-9700, and identify yourself as a SESUG ‘97 attendee. This special SESUG rate is only available until September 6^th, or until our room block has been filled.

In addition, for those who prefer budget lodgings, we have made special arrangements with the Economy Inns of America to offer a special SESUG ‘97 rate of $45 per night on a space-available basis. To reserve a room at this special rate, you must call the Economy Inns of America directly at (904) 281-0198, and identify yourself as a SESUG ‘97 attendee. This special SESUG rate is available throughout the duration of the conference, provided the hotel has space available. Please note that this hotel is no t within walking distance of the Omni, and that transportation between the Economy Inn and the Omni is the responsibility of the attendee and will not be provided by SESUG ‘97.

Attendees are responsible for their own lodging arrangements. SESUG ‘97 representatives cannot make hotel reservations for you

Identify yourself as a SESUG ‘97 attendee

Make your reservations as soon as possible, to ensure that the SESUG ‘97 rate is still available at your choice of hotels

Rates do not include applicable taxes, which are currently 12.5%
